Creative Control

Rhonda wanted more creative input in my blog. I tried to explain that since it was my blog I had sole executive producer rights. She flashed me the wedding ring and I caved. She wanted two things. The first was more cats, a la Fox.

Revolutionary Kitty

The other thing she wanted was more stories about her, so here goes. Rhonda rode in Corner Canyon last night with Jolene and Tasha. She wasn't sure exactly what trails since she likes to just hammer along and enjoy the scenery but she knows it involved some singletrack, a bit of dirt road, clarks trail, more singletrack, crossing some pavement, a fun twisty singletrack through a neighborhood and a lot of chatting. Sounds like good times to me.

It was good times last night. I just wish I could get my 29ers (or my nerves) to get around those sharper switchbacks like Rhonda and Tasha

Ditto on bob and Jennie!

29er, you should have KK hook you up by converting your wheels over to a Stans tubeless system. With Stans you could run tire pressures in the low to mid 20's. Between the low pressure and the larger footprint of the 29er your tires would be soooooo sticky your bike would corner like it was on rails. I can descend and corner just as fast (if not faster)on my 29er hardtail as I could on my full suspention 26er Blur.

You've got to keep in mind that KK just traded in his cut off jeans for cycling shorts last year. The man rolls old school! Tubeless? Maybe in another 10 years...

UTR- thats funny stuff. Maybe 29er can use her feminine persuasion abilities to jump start him into 2004!

It should be obvious that UTRider is prone to exaggeration. At least I have the decency to wear baggies when riding MTB for fun, instead of being lycra'ed up all the time. ;-)

I've got a wheel mostly converted to tubeless, just need to finish it off. If tubeless goes well for me, I'll convert her bike too.

Retraction: UTRider is NOT prone to exaggeration, he's a straight shooter and tells it like it is. But he does like to employ hyperbole to get a rise out of me on occasion. I apologize for the hasty misrepresentation and dispersions I may have cast on the upstanding and virtuous character of UTRider.
